L. Diane Wolfe grew up in Salem, Oregon and began writing when she was thirteen. When she left home at nineteen, writing was put on the back burner as she moved around
the United States. Eventually settling in North Carolina with her husband, she
is now self-employed and a professional photographer.
Wolfe was inspired to return to writing by the adage that everyone needs “something
to hope for and someone to love”. Ten years associating with a motivational
training system and her experience as a foster parent gave her the in-depth knowledge of relationships, personality traits
and success principals. Wolfe’s series, The Circle of Friends, focuses
on the pursuit of dreams and the overcoming of obstacles. The stories intertwine
as the characters learn that with belief and encouragement, they can achieve anything. Despite the salacious trend of
today's YA fiction, Wolfe refuses to compromise her morals and beliefs for a dollar bill.

Traveling the East Coast to promote her series, Wolfe
has set herself on a heavy tour of extensive book signings and speaking engagements.
The author uses her story and the character’s experiences as an allegory for overcoming obstacles &
setting goals, portraying relationship dynamics in a real setting. The author conducts seminars on publishing and promoting, outlining the options
open to writers today, as well as her "Overcoming Obstacles With Spunk!" seminar. Writing
workshops, book festivals, libraries and school visits also comprise some of her speaking engagements, as well as numerous
media interviews.

A Christian and a vegetarian,
Wolfe enjoys sports, reading and traveling. She is a thrill-seeker with a passion
for roller coasters. The author loves people, and her optimism is fueled by her
spunky, Sanguine personality. The author does not believe in the word impossible
and is willing to do whatever it takes to spread the message of hope found within her series.

“With
a positive attitude, any goal can be achieved!”

Personal facts
and quirks:
"Operating at Warp 9 most of the time, I really do enjoy the simpler things in life. Living in Oregon,
I developed a love for ocean waves, the scent of pine and the sound of a mountain stream. I have been accused
of being over-optimistic and liken myself to Dory from the movie "Finding Nemo". I think her innocent curiousity and
genuine spirit are to be admired! I learned long ago that the secret to happiness is in giving yourself away
and true success is determined by how many lives you affect in a positive way. This has become my drive - if I can help
enough people realize their dreams and achieve their heart's desire, I'll accomplish my goal!"
